Select for Revit 2014 AddIn Folder Location
- In a non-user specific location
- For Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2014\
- For Vista/Windows 7(Windows 8?) - C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2014\
-- OR --
- In a user specific location
- For Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2014\
- For Vista/Windows 7(Windows 8?)- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2014\
If you can't find the folder "Application Data" then your system is probably hiding it. To unhide:
- In Explorer, go to Tools -> Folder Options...

- Select the View Tab, then select "Show hidden files and folders

- Visit with your system administrator about whether you should switch your system back to "Do not show hidden files and folders"

Could not load file or assembly

or one of its dependencies. Operation is not supported (Exception
from HRESULT: 0X80131515)
Instructions for Unblocking the DLL
- Right Click on the DLL
- Click Properties
- Under the General tab, click on the Unblock button
