Often in 3d architectural rendering it comes down to computer horse power. This is the case when rendering out realistic lighting (radiosity), reflections and complex textures. At mertens3d we make use of a very large computer rendering farm. A render farm allows the 3d model to be rendered not on one computer, but distributed among many. Because of its size (50+ state of the art computers) we are able to render out high quality, large architectural illustrations.
