FAQ #08

Q: How big is a typical mertens3d architectural rendering?

A: Most 3d renderings are at least 5,400 pixels wide (the height will be proportionate). That number comes from a 36 inch wide board printed at 150 dpi. 90% of the time, that exceeds our clients' needs and is more than large enough for magazines and billboards. That's over 600dpi when 8 inches wide! But, if you need it, we will be happy to print it out at a higher resolution. Most of the time it won't even affect the price.
