FAQ #07

Q. Why choose a 3d computer rendering over a hand drawn (conventional) one?

A. Well you shouldn't. At least not by default. Your decision should depend in part on the result you want from the architectural rendering. The fact is that hand drawings are still typically more exciting and energy filled than computer generated images. But, computer graphics win when it comes to level of detail, flexibility of views, lighting, materials and realism. 3d architectural renderings also still have a little of that wow factor.
