mertens3d is based 100% in the US. Specifically, we are both in Austin, Texas. We don't outsource our architectural renderings or any of our work for that matter. Ever. This is not because Chinese or Indians or South American's don't do 3d architectural renderings that are as nice. In fact, there are some amazingly talented architectural illustrators overseas from whom I draw inspiration. We don't do it because we enjoy doing the architectural renderings ourselves. If we weren't lucky enough to do 3d architectural renderings for a profession, we'd rendering and model as a hobby.
