Rendering Rule #31

Your files will crash, your clients will have last minute changes and your renderings will fail. Plan for this. Try to anticipate as many realistic contingencies as possible. Try to take your renderings all the way through the process as early on as you can. This means get the view, lighting and materials roughed out and render it out final resolution as soon as possible. Continue final resolution test renders throughout the process to help head off last minute problems.
